Another Child Hit on Infamous Rye Road

Update: The City of Rye has agreed to install "pedestrian improvements"  to the ill-fated stretch of road, including sidewalks and speed bumps,

 

 

though many residents think a stop sign at the T-shaped intersection is necessary.

This is a horribly sad but fascinating story   about a stretch of road in Rye, two children hit by carsnd a man who is continually fighting the powers that be, with very mixed results.

The Principal at Midland School sent a letter home to parents about the incident.
