Take Out the Trash
Beginning January 1, 2010, all commercial businesses within the City of New Rochelle must display a decal identifying the company that collects their refuse and the day/times of such collection. Over the coming weeks, decals and/or signs will be provided by private collection companies to their customers. Those businesses that have collection service provided by the City of New Rochelle will be provided decals which will be sent by the Department of Public Works.
There is the option for smaller businesses to comply by jointly arranging for disposal by a single collection company as long as their combined total is less than 33 gallons of garbage weekly (the size of a typical commercial garbage pail). Forms and a copy of the resolution are available on line .
