Autopsy on Drown Victim ‘Inconclusive’

determine the cause of death of  Mount Vernon firefigher James Drago, whose body was found in Long Island Sound on Sunday.

According to LoHud.com, an autopsy conducted Monday was inconclusive.  Larchmont Police Sgt. William Walsh has said there were no obvious signs of foul play on the body. 

Drago, 49, disappeared on June 26 after swimming off a boat near Manor Beach in Larchmont. His body was found by a boater who alerted police. Marine units from New Rochelle and Mamaroneck recovered Drago’s body at about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Visitation hours will be held Saturday from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home at 601 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John The Baptist Church at 670 Yonkers Avenue. He will be buried at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla.
