Continuing Ed Starting

The Larchmont-Mamaroneck Center Continuing Education has a very impressive line-up of classes and trips…many starting now.

Lifelong learners can now register for fall classes offered by Larchmont Mamaroneck Continuing Education.  Whether you’re looking for a ten-week course or a one-day workshop, pursuing knowledge for personal or professional benefit, Continuing Education has over 130 offerings for you to choose from. 

 

The daytime program has been expanded and includes additional writing, art and photography classes.  Here’s a sampling of what else is planned for this season: Understanding Opera, Writer’s Circle, Play Reading, Introduction to the Digital Camera, Landscape Tours and Talks, Plein Air in Pastel, Italian Sauces, Green Your Home, Effortless Home Grown Vegetables, iPhoto, Spanish for Travelers, Building a Professional Service Firm and much more. 

 

Trips include a visit to the el Museo del Barrio to view the Nueva York exhibit and a family excursion to the Madame Alexander Doll and Mt. Vernon Hotel Museums.  Explore lower Manhattan in one of two walking tours; Tracing Jewish History in New York or a Customized Chocolate Tasting. 

 

Sandie Conner, Continuing Education’s Director, said, “Take a different course — there’s at least one class and trip for everyone.  We serve the Sound Shore area and beyond with educational, recreational, and cultural activities at a nominal cost.  Contact us now – before the classes you want fill up.”
