theLoop has openings for star interns to join the team this Fall!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  You will learn to write and file stories about area news, issues, and events, as well as social media, website content tools, multimedia–key skills for everyone who wants to be a journalist and have an impact online.

 

 

Position Requirements

• Excellent writing skills–especially experience writing blog posts, newspaper or magazine articles; copyediting and or multimedia skills a plus

• An interest in and knowledge of area communities and issues.

• Experience with website writing, graphic design, new media and/or content management a plus

• Candidate must be available to attend meetings in various areas, do on-spot reporting, and assist with local events.

• Own lap-top computer a plus
