Girls’ Soccer: Thunder wins Pele Cup

Thunder and Hurricane — Second and Third Grade girls teams in the Larchmont Junior Soccer League played an evenly matched Championship Game Saturday

 

 
      

  at Flint Park.

The score was 0-0 going into the final minutes of the third quarter when Chloe Ryan of the Thunder scored the game winning goal.  Molly Dionne and Olivia Lauri, the goalie tandem of the Thunder this season, managed to shutout the Hurricane. Thunder, who finished first in the minor league girl’s division with a 6-2 record, was able to avenge their previous loss to the Hurricane with this Pele Cup Championship victory.
