MAKING CHANGE CAN TASTE GREAT! During GREEN WEEK, Trader Joe’s will feature shade grown coffee. Or purchase a bag at Auray Café. 97% of the coffee Americans drink is grown in the sun, where rainforests used to be. Loss of rainforests contributes to climate change and the extreme weather we now have. A switch to shade grown coffee will help preserve a cooler planet and critical habitat for wildlife, including the migrating songbirds that nest in your backyard each spring. Every cup you drink counts. Go to www.neotropicalbirds.org to view a short film on shade grown coffee.
