Mamaroneck Baseball vs. Scarsdale
Whenever Scarsdale plays Mamaroneck there’s the typical trash-talking rivalry between the two
schools. Wednesday was no exception, when Mamaroneck took it to Scarsdale with an 8-5 win in the varsity baseball game.
The Tigers were led to victory with the help of senior pitchers Greg Denyssenko and Robert Gross. Senior Sam Gruppo also had a clutch 2 run single, while Dean Chiapparelli showed his speed stealing home.
I found the schedule on the HS site, and think it’s a great idea to take a “younger” fan or two who are in the LMLL to watch the big guys play. Thanks for spotlighting MHS athletics.
