Moon Over Mamaroneck

The first Mamaroneck Shares event Thursday night brought several hundred people out to a beautiful night to stroll a traffic-free Mamaroneck Ave. from Spencer St to Prospect Avenue.

 

Local businesses offered food, drinks and games for kids, and at least four local bands, from Irish to Peruvian, could be heard. The money raised will be given to local charities. Said Molly Spillane’s proprietor Mikey Hynes, one of the planners of the event, "the turnout was even better than I expected."

The next Mamaroneck Shares event will be held July 29.
