The MHS English teacher whose tenure denial sparked a student protest has confirmed to theLoop that she has resigned.
Many first learned of this from a post on the student-authored "Support Mrs. Rosenzweig" Facebook page.
Rosenzweig told theLoop in an email, "The district told me that if I were going to resign, it had to be by today. I handed in my letter yesterday, and explained my reasons to all my students."
Mamaroneck schools spokesperson Debbie Manetta says "The Board needs to act on any resignation received by the District. There is nothing on this evening’s [May 11th] Board meeting agenda about Jennifer Rosenzweig resigning."
