A Livingston Avenue resident said a neighbor’s cat ran into the wrong house around noon and would not go home. June 18

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A caller said youths with chalk were writing on the walls at 875 Mamaroneck Avenue at about 4:45 p.m. June 14

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
A 46-year-old Town of Mamaroneck woman was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, not wearing her seatbelt, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated at about 5:30 p.m. on Waverly Avenue. The operator of another car said the vehicle driven by the woman struck him while he was stopped at an intersection and left the scene. June 14

LARCENY
A woman said her wallet and cell phone were taken from a table at Molly Spillane’s Pub on Mamaroneck Avenue. June 14

BURGLARY
A North Barry Avenue resident said somebody took personal papers from his residence while he was away on business. June 14

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
A 46-year-old Town of Mamaroneck woman was arrested at about 5 p.m. for public intoxication on Mamaroneck Avenue. June 15

HIT AND RUN
A woman flagged down police on Palmer Avenue and said a car hit her car and left the scene at about 6 p.m. The woman said the driver of the other vehicle pulled alongside her, yelled "there is no damage," and left. No arrests have been made. June 15

ARREST
A 22-year-old Village of Mamaroneck man was arrested for driving a moped with a suspended license and a suspended registration at about 7:30 p.m. at Harbor Island Park.

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller said youths were setting off fireworks on Girard Street at about 9:30 p.m. June 15

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Mount Pleasant Avenue woman said her car had been damaged several times in the past, most recently a nail being placed against her passenger-side front tire. June 16

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Travers Avenue woman found blue paint splashed on the passenger side and roof of her car. June 16

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A car parked in the parking lot at 1035 East Boston Post Road was marked with swastikas. Police said it was not being treated as a hate crime. June 16

ARREST
A homeless man was arrested for public consumption of alcohol in Columbus Park at about 9:15 a.m. June 16

ARREST
A 25-year-old Village of Mamaroneck man was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, going the wrong way on a one-way street and passing on the left on Dubois Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. Police said witnesses saw the man going the wrong way. He allegedly attempted to turn around in a driveway and struck a parked car. June 16

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident said his car was keyed while it was parked on Underhill Avenue. June 17

THEFT OF SERVICES
Three youths left Toyo Sushi on Mamaroneck Avenue without paying their bill at about 6:30 p.m. The youths were tracked down but no charges were filed. June 17.

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller complained of loud music coming from Holy Trinity School on East Boston Post Road at about 11:30 p.m. The band was finished and packing up its equipment when police arrived. June 17

PEDESTRIAN HIT
A pedestrian was hit by a bicyclist on West Boston Post Road near Richbell Road at about 8 a.m. The pedestrian was treated and taken to Sound Shore Medical Center. June 18
 

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A caller reported a burglary in progress at a Wood Street residence at about 10:15 a.m., but it was a handy man doing work. June 18

HIT AND RUN
A car parked on Madison Street was hit by another vehicle overnight, causing damage to the rear left quarter panel and bumper. June 18

PETTY LARCENY
A 29-year-old Village of Mamaroneck resident was arrested for shoplifting at the A&P on Mamaroneck Avenue. June 18

YOUTH COMPLAINT
A caller complained of youths jumping off the roof of the pavilion at Harbor Island Park at about 1:30 p.m. June 18

HIT AND RUN
A driver said he was stopped at a red light on Palmer Avenue and Fenimore Road around 11 p.m., when his car was struck by a woman driving a white Lexus, who left the scene. June 18

HARASSMENT
A 48-year-old Maryland man was arrested after allegedly forcefully entering his tenant’s English Place apartment and grabbing him at about 8:45 a.m. The victim was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center complaining of neck pain. June 19

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller complained of fireworks at about 9 p.m. on Ward Avenue. June 19

A caller said youths were setting off fireworks on Underhill Avenue at about 10 p.m. June 19

A Florence Street resident said the side mirror glass was taken from her car. June 20

Police assisted a Mamaroneck Avenue resident get a bird out of her home at about 7 a.m.  June 20

FIRE
Two garbage cans on West Boston Post Road were on fire at about 11:30. June 20

TOWN OF MAMARONECK

GRAND LARCENY
A Griffen Avenue man said his 2010 gray Lexus valued at $38,000 was stolen from outside his home between 9 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. No arrests have been made. June 16

PETTY LARCENY
A Country Road resident said his a window on his truck was broken and a digital camera, valued at $600, and a memory card, valued at $50, were stolen between 10 p.m. and 6:45 a.m. June 16

PETTY LARCENY
A Winding Brook Drive man said a window was broken on his car and a GPS, valued at $300, was taken between 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. June 16

GRAND LARCENY
A Mulberry Lane resident said a Tiffany necklace valued at nearly $3,000 was taken from his residence between June 5 and June 9. There was no sign of a forced entry and no arrests have been made.

DWI
A 26-year-old Yonkers woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated at about 11:30 p.m. on Dillon Road. Police said the woman lost control of her car and drove through the yard of a Dillon Road residence, causing damage. The car then struck a car parked in the driveway. She was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and DWI. June 17

BURGLARY
A desktop computer, keyboard and mouse with a total value of about $1850 were stolen from a Garden Road residence. Police said an alarm in the house sounded around 1:30 a.m., and the residents noticed the missing property. There was no sign of forced entry. June 17

MAKING GRAFFITI
A wood bench and a roadway sign were spray-painted overnight on West Brookside Drive. June 18

A park sign was spray-painted at the Larchmont Gardens Lake. June 18

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT
A Forest Avenue woman said her Toyota was hit while parked in front of her home. June 19

GRAND LARCENY
A Sleepy Hollow woman said the passenger-side window of her car was broken while parked in the Hommocks Middle School School parking lot and items valued at about $10,000 were taken between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The items reported missing were a Gucci pocketbook, a Louis Vitton wallet, three pairs of earrings, one ring, one bracelet, a digital camera, a cosmetic case, cosmetics and $1,800 in cash. Numerous credit cards were also taken. No arrests have been made. June 20

 

Village of Larchmont

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A street sign was damaged during the overnight hours of 6/12 on Locust Ave when it was removed from the ground and left on the front lawn of a residence.

LARCENY

A Willow Ave resident reported on 6/12 that she was notified by her bank that an unauthorized withdrawal against her account in the amount of $4500 had been made at a Connecticut branch.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

While on routine patrol, a Larchmont Police officer discovered graffiti on several parked vehicles on the North Ave extension.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Palmer Ave resident reported on 6/15 that sometime during the overnight hours someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked in Lot #3.

LARCENY

A Chatsworth Ave resident reported on 6/17 that sometime the day on 6/5 someone stole his bicycle, valued at $450, from the front yard of his residence.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Stamford, CT man was arrested on 6/17 and charged with operating while his privileges to operate in New York were suspended after he was observed operating his vehicle on Boston Post Rd.  The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on $100 bail.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Palmer Ave resident reported on 6/18 that sometime during the overnight hours of 6/15 someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked in Lot 3.

 

 

RYE

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A 2000 Audi was spray-painted with black paint while it was parked in the Highland Hall lot. The damage was estimated at $100. June 16

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A 2006 Lexus was spray-painted with black paint while it was parked in the Highland Hall lot. The word "Hi" was painted on the front of the car and the word "Bye" was painted on the rear of the car. The damage was estimated at $1,000. June 16

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
The windows on a 1991 Volkswagen were smashed while the car was parked in the Highland Hall lot. The damage was estimated at $500. June 16

 

 

RULES OF THE ROAD
A 26-year-old Bridgeport, Conn., man was arrested on Forest Avenue for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with improper plates and operation of an unregistered motor vehicle on a highway at about 12:45 p.m. June 17

RULES OF THE ROAD
A 29-year-old Thornwood man was arrested at Purchase Street and Theodore Fremd Avenue for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt at about 2:45 p.m. In addition, there was an outstanding warrant for the man out of Greenburgh. June 17

ANIMAL COMPLAINT
Police found a raccoon, which appeared to be disoriented, uncoordinated and covered in flies, in front of Rye Middle School at about 1:30 p.m. The animal was put down. June 18

LARCENY
The owner of Rhythm In Rye Too on Purchase Street said she has noticed several items missing from her store over the past few weeks and wanted tips on how to safeguard her store against theft. She said a coach bag worth $200 and a pair of shoes worth $90 had been stolen. June 18

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Davis Avenue resident said she parked her car on Midland Avenue at about 2:45 p.m., and when she returned at about 4:15 p.m., the passenger-side window was broken but nothing was taken. June 18

LARCENY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE
An Indian Hill Road resident said she parked her car on Midland Avenue at about 2:30 p.m, and when she returned at about 3:15 p.m., the passenger-side window of her car was broken and her purse, wallet and credit cards were missing. June 18

RULES OF THE ROAD
A 47-year-old New Canaan, Conn., man was arrested on Peck Avenue and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of an unregistered motor vehicle on a highway at about 8:30 p.m. June 18

BICYCLE STOLEN
A Hewlett Avenue man said his son’s Trek bicycle was stolen from Rye Middle School sometime between 11 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. June 18

RULES OF THE ROAD
A 34-year-old Stamford Conn., woman was arrested on Interstate 95 after police saw she was driving a car without a front license plate at about 1:15 p.m. She was charged with driving a motor vehicle without a license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on a highway. June 18

THEFT OF SERVICES
A cab driver said two males jumped out of his car without paying their fare on Midland Avenue at about 3 p.m. The driver said he had picked up the two men in Manhattan and their fare was $97.  June 19

LARCENY
A Milton Road resident said a piece of artwork and a leather bag was taken from her apartment sometime in the last two weeks. June 19

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A rock was thrown through the rear windshield of a Pontiac Sunbird parked in the Highland Hall lot. The damage was estimated at $150. June 20

VANDALISM
A 2007 Honda was damaged in the Highland Hall lot. Police said they believe the rock that was thrown at the Pontiac bounced off that car and hit the Honda, causing about $245 damage to the front left quarter panel. June 20

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Yonkers woman said somebody caused a three-foot gash in the paint on her Volvo while it was parked in the West Med Medical Group parking lot at 120 Old Post Road June 21

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY
A Claremont Avenue resident said she was awakened by a noise at about 11:15 p.m. and saw a man in her backyard. Police said several attempts to get into the house were made through the back of the house but no access was gained. June 21

SCARSDALE

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A Southwoods Lane resident reported a suspicious male walking in her backyard at about 10 a.m. The suspect was an employee of the water department and was taking water readings. June 14

ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A caller reported two sick raccoons near Heathcote Road and Duck Pond Road just before noon. Police were unable to locate the animals. June 14

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A caller reported a suspicious person removing vegetables from the Fox Meadow School Garden on Brewster Road at about 7 pm. Police identified him as the man who runs the school’s garden program. June 14

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
 A resident reported that she thought she saw a drug deal in Bradley Park at about 8 p.m. Based on the woman’s description, police found the men in the park but did not observe any criminal activity. June 14

 SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
 A caller reported interior lights flashing in the front of Edgewood School at about 10 p.m. Police located employees from a company that was authorized to work on the school’s doors performing work in the courtyard. June 14

NOISE COMPLAINT
  A Chase road resident complained of youths playing loud music and yelling in the park at about 10:30 p.m. Police did not find anyone in the park. June 14

 

BICYCLE STOLEN
An Ogden Road woman said her bike was stolen. June 15

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A caller reported a black woman "hanging around" the basketball courts at Edgewood School at about 10 p.m. Police did not find anyone on the property, but did determine that a black woman is employed as a custodian at the school and was authorized to be on the grounds at that time. June 15

YOUTH COMPLAINT
A caller said numerous cars filled with youths arrived at a neighboring home on Mayflower Road at about 11:15 p.m. Police spoke to the resident, who was outside on the porch with some friends. The subjects said they would keep the noise down. There was no evidence of unlawful activity. June 15

YOUTH COMPLAINT
A caller said youths were drinking, making noise and throwing beer bottles on Berwick Road at about 11:45 p.m. Police did not find any kids or beer bottles. June 15

HIT AND RUN
A Carstensen Road man said his car was struck by another car while it was parked at his home. June 16

HITCHHIKING
A Mount Vernon man was issued a summons for hitchhiking in front of Scarsdale High School at about 1:15 p.m. The man said he got impatient waiting for a bus June 16

ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A Fairview Road resident reported a sick raccoon walking in the middle of the street at about 3:30 p.m. Police were unable to locate the animal. June 16

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A South Church Lane couple said they were awakened by a noise at about 4:45 a.m. and found the screen on their front door broken. Police said there was no sign that it was a burglary attempt but that there was also no indication of what broke the screen. June 17

YOUTH COMPLAINT
A Chase Road resident said youths were making noise in the area at about 11 p.m. Police spoke with the youth, who was listening to music on his car. The youth shut the music off and apologized. June 17

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller reported a loud party at a Lebanon Road residence just after midnight. The homeowner said her daughter had guests over to celebrate her 23rd birthday, and they got excited at the end of Game 7 of the NBA Finals. June 18

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller complained of a loud party at a Normandy Lane residence at about 6:30 p.m. Police could hear music coming from the pool area, but did not find it to be excessive. June 18

NOISE COMPLAINT
Police received to complaints about music coming from Fenway Country Club between 10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. The music was lowered while police were at the scene. June 18

YOUTH COMPLAINT
A caller complained that youths were throwing yard refuse into the roadway at Brewster Road and Sage Terrace at about 10:45 p.m. Police did not find the youths, but did remove several bags off the road. June 18.

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller reported a loud house party in the area of Bradford Road and Broadmoor Road at about 11 p.m. Police could not find the party or the noise. June 18

NOISE COMPLAINT
Multiple callers complained of loud music coming from Fenway Country Club. Police observed numerous cars leaving an organized gathering and were assured the festivities were over. June 18

A caller complained of loud youths in the area of Broadmoor Road and Bradford Road just after midnight. A Bradford Road resident was having a small gathering at her house and said she would keep the noise level down. June 19

NOISE COMPLAINT
A Cooper Road resident complained that his neighbor’s swimming pool was making a loud noise at about 9:15 a.m. June 19

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Penn Boulevard resident said that an unknown person through eggs at their house. No damage was caused. June 19

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller complained of loud youths in the area of Bell Road at about 9 p.m. June 19

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A caller said that two youths exited their car in front of her River Road home and ran off into the woods at about 10 p.m. A small group was leaving the area when police arrived. No violations were observed. June 19

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller reported loud youths in the area of Scarsdale High School at about 10:30 p.m. Police found an adult party in the area, and the resident turned down the music. June 19. 

YOUTH COMPLAINT
A Park Road housekeeper requested assistance clearing youths from the area at about 11 p.m. The youths were apparently taking part in a scavenger hunt. June 19

NOISE COMPLAINT
A Dobbs Terrace resident was issued a summons for unnecessary noise at about 11 p.m. because her dog was barking continuously. June 19

NOISE COMPLAINT
A caller complained of 20-30 youths drinking and making noise near Fox Meadow School at about 11:30 p.m. The kids dispersed among police arrival. June 19

YOUTH COMPLAINT
A caller reported that youths were throwing debris in the roads near Cohawney Road just before midnight. The baags were removed. June 19

NOISE COMPLAINT
An Aspen Road resident complained of a loud party in the area at about 1:16 a.m. Police could not locate the party. June 20

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Benches and the soccer goal were moved onto the track area at Scarsdale High School. No damage was caused. June 20

A Cohawney Road resident said his mailbox was taken down overnight. June 20
