CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

 

 A Larchmont Avenue resident reported that sometime during the day on 12/9 someone cut a large circle in the glass pane of a garage window. No property was reported missing. Dec. 13.

 

ATTEMPTED FRAUD

 

 A Coolidge Street resident reported that he received a telephone call purportedly from a UPS store claiming they were holding a package requiring an amount to be paid to satisfy some sort of tariff.  The complainant became suspicious and contacted UPS who advised him that they had no record of any package. Dec. 15.

 

LARCENY

 

A Palmer Avenue resident reported that she discovered two unauthorized withdrawals had been made during the month of November from her bank account totaling $1300. Dec.16.

 

HARASSMENT

 

A Grove Avenue resident reported that someone entered her vehicle and removed property of undetermined value. Dec. 17.

 

TOWN OF MAMARONECK

 PETIT LARCENY

 An individual stole cans of Budweiser beer valued at $14.85 from the Stop and Shop supermarket on Boston Post Road.  Dec. 18.

 

VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK

 BURGLARY

An unknown individual reportedly stole tools and hardware valued at $2900 from a Halstead Avenue garage from Dec. 13 to Dec. 17. 

 

BURGLARY

 A burglary reportedly stole $300 from a W. Boston Post Road apartment. Dec. 18.

 

IDENTITY THEFT

 A resident reported an unknown person using his or her credit card for online purchases. Dec. 18.

 

THEFT OF SERVICES

 A diner at a restaurant on the 400 block of Mamaroneck Avenue left without paying his $45 bill. Dec. 18.

 

LARCENY

 A Boston Post Road resident reported a bike valued at $500 stolen from the residence’s driveway. Dec. 20.


SCARSDALE

 LARCENY

 A Scarsdale resident reported her bicycle stolen from the Train Station. Dec. 13.

 

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

 A Greenacres Avenue resident reported a dark sedan idling infront of her house for an hour. Dec. 15.

 

 BURGLARY

 A Carthage Road resident reported coming home to find her back window open. Dec. 16.

 

 SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

 A Stratton Road resident reported a white SUV with blinking lights parked for an extended period of time.  Dec. 18.

 

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

 A Beechwood Lane resident reported a man wearing a gray overcoat on his property looking at the back of the house.  The homeowner was concerned the man was casing his home. Dec. 18.

 

ANIMAL COMPAINT

 A resident reported seeing a coyote going into the red maple swamp. It did not It did appear sick or injured. Dec. 19.
