Police said the woman said she was unaware she had a flat tire. Police also found a bottle of rum and several beer cans in the vehicle. The woman told police she was leaving a party in Harrison but hadn’t had anything to drink. Her blood-alcohol concentration was allegedly .17, more than twice the legal limit. August 29

Police said a caller reported a group of youths in an SUV parked at the dead end. When police arrived, they found a 2005 Toyota Forerunner with several teens inside the truck. Police detected a strong smell of marijuana in the vehicle. One of the boys was found to have a fake Maryland driver’s license in his possession. August 23

It was determined that the bird was a red-tailed hawk. A wildlife rehabilitator was contacted and secured the hawk. August 25
