Suspects Named in Local Robberies
Four teenagers and one 20-year-old have been charged with three recent robberies in the Village and Town of Mamaroneck.
Casey Johnson, 20, of the Bronx; Dwayne Wright, 19, of the Bronx; Troy Francis, 18, of the Bronx; Antonio Dawes, 17 of Queens; and Garfield Pine, 17, of the Bronx were charged by Village police for allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old on Palmer Avenue on Aug. 30. Police said the victim was robbed of his cell phone and sustained minor injures.
All five were arraigned on Thursday in Village of Mamaroneck Court and were remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
Town of Mamaroneck Lt. Robert Koziak said the five suspects were also charged in a robbery of a 17-year-old on Nancy Lane and a robbery of a 25-year-old on Boston Post Road. One juvenile was also charged by Town of Mamaroneck police, but Koziak declined to release his name.
