Kids ages 6 and up can kick off the weekend with Face-Off Friday at the Larchmont Library. Bring a friend or make new ones at this fun, non-instructional event. Chessboards will be provided to all who come on Friday, March 12th from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.


Applause Westchester invites kids one year and older to the Broadway Pajama Night Party. From 6 – 7:30 p.m., you’ll be entertained by the staff who will perform as your favorite Broadway characters. Pizza, drinks, cookie decorating, tattoos and crafts are all included in the $20 per child fee. RSVP to for this Friday, March 12th event.

Saturday, March 13th is Bunny Day at the Voracious Reader in Larchmont. Join two bunny-themed authors and illustrators, Sergio Ruzzier and Marisabina Russo, for reading, drawing, book-signing and light refreshments. Recommended for ages 3 – 7, the fun is happening from 2 -4 p.m.

This Sunday, March 14th, the New Rochelle Humane Society is hosting an open house, which will include guided tours of all of the adoptable kittens, puppies, dogs and cats at the shelter. Not quite ready for a permanent new housemate? Learn about the NRHS Lucky in Love foster program at 1 p.m. The open house lasts from 12 – 3 in the afternoon.






The Rye Art Center is hosting Jane Condon and her One-Woman Show, ”Raw and Unchained: The Confessions of a Comedy Mom”on Friday, March 12th at 8 p.m. Tickets for this night of laughs are $20 for Rye Arts Center members and $25 for nonmembers.


At 9 p.m. on Friday, March 12th, Larchmont’s Globe Bar & Grill is hosting a CD release party for Adriani Tripping on Love featuring Andy Hilfiger and Rob Ferraro, a rock band. Guests will also be treated to a performance by Sophia Schoenau, a pop singer opening for the band.


Playland is hosting back-to-back events this weekend, starting with Party Night on Friday, March 12th from 8:45 -11 p.m. Enjoy a live DJ, on-ice contests and giveaways and a skate rental in the $12 per person price. At the same time on March 13th, Saturday Night Grooves invites partygoers to don apparel from the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s while skating to tunes from those decades. $9 adults, $6 children.

There are two showings of Henrik Ibsen’s classic drama, An Enemy of the People, at Mamaroneck’s Emelin Theatre this weekend. Tickets to both performances are $40. The first show is on Saturday, March 13th at 8 p.m. and the second is Sunday, March 14th at 3 p.m.

Mamaroneck’s (Winter) Farmers Market continues on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at St. Thomas. Be sure to take a break from shopping to stop by the Carpenters Kids Cafe to enjoy a hot beverage or spring water to support a good cause.


The Westchester County Center’s indoor Farmers Market includes fresh produce, baked goods, maple syrup, jam, wine and dairy products. Parking is $4 (coupon available online) for this event on Sunday, March 14th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
