Champagne, wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served up at the Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild Gallery in Larchmont this Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. to celebrate the opening of Art for Animals/Animals in Art, an exhibit benefiting the Pet Rescue and Guild. Pre-teens ages 10 to 13 are invited to volunteer at the New Rochelle Humane Society this summer with the supervision of a parent or guardian. Teens (14 – 17) can serve as junior volunteers on their own. The Mamaroneck Public Library is unveiling the Set Sail—READ summer reading program this Friday from 6 – 7:30 p.m. for Middle and High School students. This year, teens can connect, share opinions and write reviews of the books they read this summer—all online.
