The Westchester County Center is holding an Open Gym Friday evening from 6 – 10 p.m. for high school students. There will be basketball, foosball, board games, knock hockey and plenty of other Westchester high schoolers to hang out with. www.countycenter.biz

County Legislator Judy Meyers and State Assemblyman George Latimer have their next A Cup of Joe with Judy and George event this Saturday. Head to Rye’s Ruby’s Oyster Bar from 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon or the Nautilus Diner in Mamaroneck from 2 – 3:30 p.m. for a free cup of joe and conversation about state and county issues.

Grab a pair of binoculars and visit Rye’s Marhslands Conservancy for White Goddesses of the Marsh on Sunday at 10 a.m. You will get close-up views of Snowy and Great egrets as they gather to feed on the marsh’s fish before the winter migration. www.westchestergov.com
