The Rye Free Reading Room’s Fun Club is celebrating spring with stories, movies and crafts on Friday, March 26th. Kids ages 5 and up and can enjoy stories about Passover, Easter and April Fools Day while making a spring-themed decoration from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.


New Rochelle’s annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bonnet Parade will be held on Saturday, March 27th at Davenport Park. The parade kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at the flagpole, followed by the Easter Egg Hunt. Complete a form online for the event:


Kids grades 2 – 5 can participate in the Carole D. Kirby Memorial Easter Egg Hunt at Rye Recreation park this Saturday, March 27th. The hunt kicks off at 10:30 a.m.


Family Skate Day continues at Playland on Sunday, March 28th. 2-4 skaters receive admission, a large pizza and skate rentals for $40 between 3 – 5 p.m.




Auction: If you’ve never checked out the Clarke Auction, now’s the time. Sunday will be one of their biggest antiques and decorative arts auctions ever. Preview the goods Saturday from 12 – 6 p.m. and Sunday, 12 – 2 p.m. The auction is Sunday at 2 p.m.


ELVIS: The Legend Lives, a concert, is coming to the White Plains Performing Arts Center this Friday, March 26th. See the legend take the stage at 8 p.m. for this one-night only event. All seats are $45—some of the proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross in Westchester.


Pelham’s The Picture House is hosting a screening of Knighthood, on Saturday, March 27th at 12 p.m. This documentary about Mount Vernon’s winning basketball team will be followed with a Q&A with Westchester filmmakers Michael Variano and Cliff Charles.


Rye Playland’s ice rink is still up and running for Party Night on Friday, March 26th. Enjoy a live DJ, on-ice contests, party lights and giveaways while skating the night away from 8:45 – 11 p.m. $12 gets you admission and a skate rental.


Feeling crafty? The New Rochelle Public Library is hosting a needlework workshop this Saturday, March 27th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Stop by to learn the craft or refine your skills.


The opening reception for art show: Young Artists on the Rise will be held on Saturday, March 27th from 3 – 5 p.m. The show features artwork from Westchester high school students at the Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild and runs from March 23rd – April 10th.


The blues are coming to the Emelin Theatre this weekend as musician, composer and actor Guy Davis takes the stage on Saturday, March 27th at 8 p.m. All tickets are $25.




Along with the regular goodies found at the Indoor Farmers’ Market in Mamaroneck, there’s a special Cooking Contest this Saturday, March 27th from 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. Bring your culinary creation – made with the featured farmers market vegetable of the month – to the market for judging! The winner gets a farmers market gift certificate and their recipe will be published on the Community Markets website. Register in advance at the manager’s table.


Scarsdale’s Farmers’ Market takes place in the Village Hall’s lower level parking lot this Saturday, March 27th from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. You’ll find local and organic products like wine, meat, produce and jams each week.
