still remained unresolved, with absentee ballots yet to be counted.
With about 200 absentee ballots – double the usual number –waiting in the wings, the races for three trustee seats and village justice remain too close to call, officials said.
Those ballots, however, could be counted by Wednesday, said Mayor Norman Rosenblum. Unofficial counts had the three Democratic candidates for trustee seats ahead and the justice race still too close to call, he said.
